01 Octopus Squeaky Toy
This octopus squeaky toy is one of Milo's favorite
toys, and ours too! It's so versatile. We play fetch
and hide and seek with it. We even put small treats in
there and tie all the legs together like a puzzle for
him to dig through. It keeps him self-entertained for
at least 15 minutes. The only downside to this toy is
that the legs can get gross from all the dog saliva, and the threading does come apart if you pull too hard. BUT, these toys usually come in multiples so I switch out the octopuses if one gets too gross to handle. And I'm not much of a seamstress but these octopuses are the easiest thing to sew up. When they are on sale, we stock up!
02 Bacon Scented Throw Toy
Milo also loves this toy! To be honest, it doesn't smell like bacon to me. Maybe to a dog?? But it is super easy to throw, which is what I love about it. If you want to keep its vibrant color, do not leave it in the sun, even for a day! A dog's teeth can also puncture it if you pull the toy from their mouth using too much force. It isn't as resilient as I'd like it to be but it's really not the toy's fault. I do buy this toy from time to time when I see it on sale because it is a good alternative to just throwing a ball.
03 Outward Hound HedgeHogz Plush
This hedgehog was so cute and so many people had good things to say about it so I decided to buy it and see for myself. I wasn't sure how big of a plush I should get so I bought the large size since Milo is about 32 pounds. Oh man, the plush was big! I should have gotten a medium. Milo likes playing keep away with this plush, running away from us with it in his mouth. It does seem a little too big for him but he makes it work. I do like it because it throws like a football. It was on sale for Amazon Prime Day so I might get a medium one in the future.
04 ChuckIt! Fetch & Fold Launcher
Milo loves loves LOVES playing fetch. This foldable launcher is compact in size, throws the ball further than my lame pitch, and is the perfect solution to keeping my hands clean without having to touch a slobbery ball. And I especially like bringing it to the dog park because I do not want to be picking up the ball with my bare hands there. IYKYK. Milo always gets super excited when he sees this toy.
